What will your typical day look like? 

You'll work with a team of industry experts on forensic accounting assignments, developing restructuring solutions for clients (including complex cases and mergers and acquisitions), and assist with valuation analysis. You enjoy complex assignments, analysing financial information, and building financial models. You’ll contribute to team objectives by performing research, due diligence, collecting and analysing data, and producing draft reports. You’ll work towards pursuing a relevant professional designation in the field.

Deloitte provides financial advisory services in restructuring, valuations, merger & acquisitions (M&A) transactions, forensic investigations, anti-money laundering/anti-terrorist financing (AML/ATF) compliance, and ancillary services. Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are someone with:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business or Law, or related field.
  • Willingness to pursue a relevant professional qualification in valuation/finance (CBV, ASA, CFA) or insolvency/forensics (CPI, ICAEW Certification in Insolvency, CIRP, CFE).
  • Previous work experience is an asset, but not required for first year Analyst position. 
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in a related position is required to join as an Associate.
  • Proven problem solving, research, and negotiation skills.
  • Business etiquette and exceptional client facing manner.
