What will your typical day look like?
You play an integral role in understanding the IT security risks that impact our clients’ business. You lead IT risk assessments and are a trusted advisor helping clients respond to the evolving cyber regulatory landscape environment and business risks. Continuous learning and development will be a part of this role as you gain to a variety of different business and complex challenges. You can expect to:
- Help lead, plan, and execute engagements, and identify and evaluate technology risks and internal controls to mitigate risks and discover opportunities for internal IT control improvement.
- Leverage tools and technologies to help clients mitigate risk and apply technical knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as data protections and cybersecurity.
- Develop and mentor junior team members to ensure service excellence.
- Engage in well-being and sustainability initiatives, a variety social and community events, and other programs aligned with Deloitte's Shared Values.
About the team

You are someone with:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; or equivalent qualification (i.e., ACCA).
- Internationally recognized professional designation complete or near completed., e.g., CIA, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CIIP/E, CIPM, CEH, and/or other related certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber security or technology risk management.
- Experience with globally recognized cyber frameworks and requirements (i.e., NIST, NYDFS, Cyber Essentials) and data protection requirements (i.e., GPDR)
- Experience working in a professional services firm or large-scale organization preferred.
