What will your typical day look like?
You work with the firm's partners to strategically manage and grow the Tax practice through business development and managing operations. You’ll work alongside Tax professionals across the Caribbean and Bermuda Region and collaborate regularly with the Deloitte global network, and continue to build our growing business in the market.
You can expect to:
- Be accountable for the overall execution of Tax engagements on tax compliance and advisory matters for a portfolio of clients. You will provide advice on key technical areas including business tax, international tax, Pillar Two, FATCA/CRS, mergers and acquisitions, and transaction support, indirect tax, business process solutions, and general tax compliance and consulting.
- Optimize delivery of end-to-end tax approaches, and champion the adoption and training of new technologies, and stay updated on current and pending tax laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic leadership, oversee project management and resource allocation, and effectively collaborate with delivery centres and specialists to ensure seamless client delivery.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with:
- A bachelor’s degree preferably in a related field; or equivalent qualification (i.e., ACCA)
- Qualified with an internationally recognized relevant professional designation, e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA or JD, LLM Masters of Taxation or ICSA or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in tax, tax accounting procedures, legal tax services or financial control.
- Minimum of 3 years’ managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience including, coaching, mentoring, developing, and leading team members.
- Project management skills; including experience leading engagements, or components of engagements, including mentoring, coaching, and reviewing work of junior team members.
