What will your typical day look like?
As part of our Audit & Assurance team, you contribute to our purpose to make an impact that matters, by building trust and ensuring confidence and quality in corporate reporting ecosystems and delivering high-quality services that help clients meet regulatory requirements and make informed business decisions.
As a Senior Manager, you are responsible for managing a portfolio of key clients on a day-to-day basis with a focus on high quality delivery and leading with integrity to build inclusion, motivation, and develop team members capabilities. You have extensive relevant experience and the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution development and implementation for our clients' needs. You have advanced knowledge in your service area and industry and play an active role in business development activities and management of the practice. You may have the opportunity to provide services across all our audit services (including both internal and external audit).
The standard requirements of this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a related field, or equivalent designation (i.e., ACCA)
- Qualified in a minimum of one or more of the following designations: ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, CAMS, CIA, CISM, CISA, CISSP or other relevant professional designations.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in risk management, including relevant banking or insurance , within a professional services firm or large-scale business. Internal audit or combined internal and external audit experience, or experience in a related risk management role is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience including, coaching, mentoring, developing, and leading team members.
- Experience supporting clients in operational risk services including risk assessments and internal control reviews (e.g., control assessments, internal audits) as well as project management.
- Experience supporting business growth including selling, winning, and delivering risk management or related services.
- Experience managing large-scale client engagements utilizing effective project management skills within Financial Services or other targeted sectors.
- Highly experienced with practice management and building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting clients with regulatory advisory including anti-money laundering/countering the financing of terrorism, data protection and/or other relevant regulatory requirements is required depending on location.
- Sound knowledge and understanding in several of the following areas: IFRS, US GAAP, SEC Reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley, Solvency II, Project Management, Risk Management, AML or FATCA.
