What will your typical day look like?
You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of liquidations, formal insolvency cases, and corporate restructuring. You’ll work closely with lawyers as well as senior stakeholders across our client organizations providing restructuring solutions to solve client needs. Driving quality and excellent client service while continuously developing and mentoring your team is a top priority. You play a key role with practice development and keep current on industry trends.

Deloitte provides financial advisory services in restructuring, valuations, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) transactions, forensic investigations, anti-money laundering/anti-terrorist financing (AML/ATF) compliance, and ancillary services. Our team consists of practitioners with specialist fields of expertise and deep industry knowledge, as well as significant practical experience.
Our Restructuring Services team specializes in managing companies facing distress or disruption to help them turnaround or maximize the return to stakeholders in an insolvency scenario. We're proud that our work makes a meaningful impact on our clients’ businesses. Our strategic finance professionals are industry experts in their domain. They help creditors, equity providers and financiers navigate through formal and informal restructures and insolvency processes to protect and maximize their positions.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with:
- A bachelor’s degree; preferably in a related field, or equivalent qualification (i.e., ACCA)
- An internationally recognized relevant professional designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA, CPI, JIEB, INSOL Foundation Certificate, JD, LLM, or LLB and post-graduate qualification in law)
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in financial advisory, audit, or related advisory services, including experience with insolvency services, voluntary liquidation, asset recovery, and restructuring support services
Not required, but preferred:
- An accounting designation would be an asset (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA)
- Experience within a large professional services firm
