What will your typical day look like?
You’ll support the delivery of corporate insolvency services, including managing the client relationship, advising on strategy and providing updates on insolvency and restructuring cases. You’ll help negotiate terms and prepare and review financial and legal documents, including restructuring proposals, creditor communications, and court filings. You participate in the development of financial models, review accounting records, and support with data analysis. You’ll make recommendations based on industry best practices and Deloitte’s internal policies and procedures, support proposal development, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver client service excellence.

Deloitte provides financial advisory services in restructuring, valuations, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) transactions, forensic investigations, anti-money laundering/anti-terrorist financing (AML/ATF) compliance, and ancillary services. Our team consists of practitioners with specialist fields of expertise and deep industry knowledge, as well as significant practical experience.
Our Insolvency & Restructuring Services team specializes in offering tailored advice to companies facing corporate distress or disruption to help them get back on their feet. Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with:
- A bachelor’s degree; preferably in a related field, or equivalent qualification (i.e., ACCA)
- An internationally recognized relevant professional designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA, CPI, JIEB, INSOL Foundation Certificate, JD, LLM, or LLB and post-graduate qualification in law)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial advisory, audit, or related advisory services, including experience with insolvency services, voluntary liquidation, asset recovery, and restructuring support services
Not required, but preferred:
- An accounting designation would be an asset (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA)
- Experience within a large professional services firm
