What will your typical day look like?

As an Audit Senior, you play an integral role is designing and completing Audit solutions for a diverse range of clients, primarily in the Financial Services industry.  You bring your external audit background to help lead and execute high quality audit engagements from start to finish and assist clients with complex accounting matters.  You are involved in planning engagements, identifying solutions to business and financial risks, and developing and mentoring junior audit team members. You are a trusted advisor to our clients given the important of reliable financial information in today’s world. Continuous learning and development will be a part of this role as you gain exposure to different business environments and complex challenges.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary/qualification 
  • An internationally recognized professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA) or are currently on track to complete designation requirements by December 2024 
  • 2-3 years of relevant audit experience in a public practice firm 

Not required, but preferred: 

  • Experience with a Big 4 professional services firm 
  • Experience in the financial services industry (Asset Management) 
  • Exposure to US GAAP or IFRS 

We offer successful candidates an 18 month contract starting in January 2025.
