What will your typical day look like?

You develop technical solutions for helpdesk ticket requests, as well as support ad hoc technology projects. You lend your expertise in areas such as desktop and computer support, IT incident management, conference support, network and printer support, and server maintenance. You provide service desk assistance and document IT problems and resolutions across the organization. You are energized by finding IT solutions and delivering a high quality of client service.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. 

You are someone with:

  • A minimum of a high school certificate.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Working towards a relevant professional IT certificate or qualification such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Microsoft Certified Technology Associate or CISCO certification.
  • Exposure to and knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
  • Experience liaising with employees at all levels of an organization to ensure a high level of customer service is provided. 

Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer or information systems related field.
  • Experience using or knowledge of any of the following:
    • Active Directory,
    • Microsoft Office,
    • DNS/WINS,
    • Android/iPhone,
    • Active Sync,
    • SPAM Filtering, 
    • SharePoint, and 
    • Other applications as deployed by the Firm.
  • Experience using help desk software to manage, and track incidents.
  • IT operation support experience in a medium-sized corporate environment.
  • Experience with Windows Server (latest versions available).
