What will your typical day look like?
You contribute to strengthening the firm’s cybersecurity framework by leading incident response activities, supporting vulnerability management, and applying cybersecurity best practices across the Caribbean and Bermuda region. You are energized by identifying, analyzing, and resolving security threats while supporting practitioners and external clients in managing technology risk. You demonstrate sound project management and communication skills, and effectively collaborate across diverse and virtual teams.
You can expect to:
- Help lead incident identification, investigation, and containment, while overseeing security controls, conducting risk assessments, tracking remediation efforts, and continuously monitoring for security exposures.
- Leverage tools and technologies to effectively evaluate cyber risks and provide practical recommendations to strengthen technological security practices across the firm.
- Develop and mentor junior team members to ensure service excellence.
- Engage in well-being and sustainability initiatives, a variety of social and community events, and other programs aligned with Deloitte's Shared Values.

You are someone with:
- High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Working towards a relevant professional IT certificate or qualification such as
- CompTIA Security+.
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- GIAC related certifications
- CISSP
- A Minimum of 3 years of relevant cyber security work experience.
- Experience working with one or more of the following security technologies and platforms:
- Cloud security solutions deployed within AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments
- Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) platforms, including Microsoft 365 Defender or equivalent solutions
- Vulnerability Management solutions, including Qualys
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies, such as Netskope
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), including Cisco Secure Network Analytics/Stealthwatch
- Insider Threat monitoring and detection systems
- Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies provided by Akamai
- Log collection, correlation, and analysis platforms, including Splunk
- Enterprise firewall solutions, including Check Point
