What will your typical day look like? 
As a Tax Associate, you play an integral role on our team. You develop trusted relationships with clients and conduct research on tax matters to provide insights and assist with tax planning strategies. You apply your expertise in tax regulations in order develop solutions and help make recommendations based on your findings. You will have the opportunity to develop an industry specialty in offshore financial markets, including hedge funds, private equity and reinsurance clients. This role may be for you if you enjoy research and helping your clients understand how tax regulations impact their businesses on a day-to-day basis. You’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Our U.S. Tax team serves a portfolio of investment management clients and reinsurance companies providing U.S. tax reporting and consulting services for both U.S. and non-U.S. partnerships and corporations. Our outstanding professionals provide a broad range of fully integrated tax services. Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are someone with:
  •  A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, LLB, or related field
  • Working towards an internationally recognized accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACCA); or will be completing a Master’s degree in Accounting, Law, Tax 
  • Extensive knowledge of US tax is required gained through either US tax work experience or US tax course 
Preferred 
  • Previous work experience in US tax compliance (including co-op, internships, summer jobs) - Experience with corporations including specific experience with hedge funds
